Small Gatherings! Get connected. Get involved. Small Gatherings. In the Book of Acts, the early church met both in the Temple and in one another's homes. In our present day of Mega churches, it may be easy to get lost in the crowd or to just become another number. Celebrating the Lord "together" in a worship experience on Sunday morning is extremely important! There is an exciting dynamic when we "gather together" in one place. However, during the week, Small Gatherings offer the opportunity to build spiritual relationships in a close-knit setting. Interacting and investing in one another's lives in a small group creates a genuine and open environment. While some may be apprehensive at first to attend a Sunday morning service, most people enjoy the closeness of being invited into their neighbor's home. Our homes can become a safe haven to tell others about the goodness of the Lord. The possibilities are absolutely limitless and far Reaching... Reaching Out to more communities and new people - Reaching In by building closer and stronger relationships with one another and Reaching Up together to worship an awesome God! Think of it this way - during the week our goal is to develop Small Gatherings throughout the entire Metro (Arcadia, Bethany, Choctaw, Del City, Edmond, Midwest City, Moore, Mustang, Norman, Oklahoma City, Piedmont, Spencer, The Village, Warr Acres, Yukon) and Sunday morning will be our Celebration Worship Experience! Each Small Gathering (meetings and events) will have it's own unique style, mission and people group. Use your home or hobby to reach out to others. Everyone has the ability to minister to someone.
